Canales suffered a muscle injury in training on Monday and has been ruled out of action for the next few weeks.

The 31-year-old has been a key player for Betis this season, scoring four goals and providing five assists in 18 La Liga appearances.

His absence will be a blow to Betis, who are currently fourth in the La Liga standings and pushing for a Champions League spot.

Betis will also be without defender Juan Miranda for the Getafe clash due to suspension.

Getafe, meanwhile, are 15th in the La Liga standings and will be looking to move further away from the relegation zone.

The match will be played at the Benito Villamarín Stadium on Wednesday at 8pm local time.
