The Las Vegas Aces continued their dominance over the Chicago Sky on Sunday, handing them a seventh-straight loss in a high-scoring affair.

The Sky were led by Kahleah Copper, who scored 22 points. Candace Parker added 16 points, and Emma Meesseman had 15 points.

The Aces took control of the game in the first quarter, outscoring the Sky 31-20. They continued to build their lead in the second quarter, taking a 60-43 lead into halftime.

The Sky made a run in the third quarter, cutting the Aces’ lead to 10 points. But the Aces responded in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Sky 29-18 to seal the victory.

The Aces’ win improves their record to 19-7, while the Sky’s loss drops them to 10-16.

Aces’ Defense Stifles Sky

The Aces’ defense played a key role in their victory, holding the Sky to just 43.5% shooting from the field and 28.6% shooting from three-point range.

The Aces also forced the Sky into 17 turnovers, which led to 21 points.

Wilson Continues to Impress

Wilson has been one of the most dominant players in the WNBA this season, and her performance against the Sky was no exception.

The 2020 WNBA MVP is averaging 19.5 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game this season.

Wilson is a major reason why the Aces are one of the favorites to win the WNBA championship this year.
