Jadon Sancho Returns to Borussia Dortmund on Loan

Champions League Hopefuls Bolster Attack

Prolific Winger Signs Until End of Season

Borussia Dortmund have pulled off a major coup by securing the loan signing of Jadon Sancho from Manchester United. The highly-rated winger has returned to the Signal Iduna Park until the end of the season, adding a potent attacking threat to the Ruhr side's Champions League aspirations.

Sancho enjoyed a highly successful first spell at Dortmund between 2017 and 2021, scoring 50 goals in 137 appearances. He established himself as one of the most exciting young players in the world before moving to Manchester United for a reported fee of £73 million in 2021.

However, Sancho has struggled to replicate his Dortmund form at Old Trafford, and he has found himself on the fringes of Erik ten Hag's squad this season. A loan move back to Germany provides him with an opportunity to rediscover his best form and contribute to Dortmund's push for a Champions League quarter-final spot.

The 22-year-old is expected to make his second Dortmund debut in the Bundesliga match against Hertha Berlin on Saturday. His return has been warmly welcomed by both the club and the fans, who are hoping he can help fire them to success in the second half of the season.
